Fish Chowder
Ingredients
4 Strips Bacon
Carrots
Corn
Water
Potatoes
Fish (some white variety)
1 Can Clams
Crabmeat
1 Cup Milk
Rosemary
Thyme
Directions
Cut bacon into small pieces.
In the pot, fry the bacon.
Remove bacon and drain grease.
In the pot, excluding potatoes, fry the vegetables until slightly soft.
Add water to cover the contents.
Bring to a boil.
Cut potatoes into small chunks.
Add potatoes.
Boil for about 5 minutes, adding water as needed.
Cut fish into small chunks.
Add fish and boil until cooked.
Open and rinse clams.
Add clams.
Add crab.
Reintroduce bacon.
Reduce to simmer.
Add 1 cup milk.
Increase to low boil.
Mix cornstarch and cold water.
Add cornstarch and water as desired to thicken.
Top with rosemary and thyme.
